Prayers for Holy Spirit Healing

Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that Jesus is my Lord, Savior, and Deliverer. Search my heart and reveal anything that is keeping me from walking closely with You. I confess my sins and receive Your promise that when I confess, You are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

By Your grace, I choose to forgive every person who has hurt, rejected, betrayed, abused, or disappointed me. Forgiving them does not excuse what happened; it releases judgment into Your righteous hands. I surrender my anger, bitterness, resentment, and desire for revenge.

Please forgive me for the ways I have harmed others or responded sinfully to my pain.

I renounce every agreement I have made with fear, shame, rejection, condemnation, unforgiveness, and the lie that I am unworthy of love. I belong to Jesus Christ. Purify my heart, renew my mind, and cleanse my conscience through the finished work of the cross. Fill every surrendered place with Your truth, peace, and Holy Spirit. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, I invite Your light and truth into every wounded place within me. You came to heal the brokenhearted and set the oppressed free. Please reveal the false beliefs, painful memories, sinful patterns, and spiritual burdens that I need to surrender to You.

I renounce fear, shame, rejection, self-hatred, hopelessness, bitterness, and every destructive influence that has opposed Your truth in my life. Lord Jesus, deliver me from evil and break the power of every unhealthy agreement, bondage, and oppressive influence.

Holy Spirit, bring Your healing presence to the places where I have experienced trauma, loss, abandonment, or abuse. Replace lies with Your truth: I am loved, forgiven, accepted, redeemed, and made new in Christ. Restore my sense of safety and significance in You. Teach me healthy boundaries, guide me toward trustworthy support, and help me walk in freedom one day at a time.

Father, fill every place that has been cleansed and healed with Your Holy Spirit. Guard my heart and mind with the peace of Christ. I place myself under Your loving authority and receive the freedom, forgiveness, purification, and healing Jesus purchased for me. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Forgiveness does not require returning to an unsafe relationship or abandoning wise boundaries. Deep trauma can also benefit from prayer alongside a trustworthy pastor and a licensed, trauma-informed counselor.

By purification, I mean asking God to cleanse your heart from sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, shame, and false beliefs—not suggesting that you are dirty because someone harmed you. You are not responsible for another person’s sin against you.

Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, please show me what You want to heal, but do not allow me to become overwhelmed.

I release this person from my judgment and place them into Your hands. I surrender my anger, resentment, bitterness, and desire for repayment to You.

Father, please forgive me for my own sinful responses, including __________. Cleanse my heart and help me receive Your forgiveness. I reject condemnation because Jesus paid for my sins on the cross.

I renounce the lie that __________. I renounce every agreement I have made with fear, rejection, shame, self-hatred, hopelessness, and unforgiveness. Those beliefs will no longer define me.

Lord Jesus, show me Your truth about this wound. What do You want me to know about myself, about what happened, and about You? Replace the lie with Your truth: I am loved, accepted, forgiven, redeemed, and secure in Christ. What happened to me does not determine my identity or my future.

In the authority of Jesus Christ, I reject every oppressive influence connected to this pain, sin, or false belief. I belong to Jesus. Lord, deliver me from evil, guard my heart and mind, and fill every surrendered place with Your Holy Spirit, truth, peace, and love.

Keep on believing, I am forgiven and redeemed by his work on the cross. It is finished we now have a way to come back to him!!

Prayer of Salvation and a New Beginning

Lord Jesus, thank You for showing me how much I need You. Thank You for loving me and dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my past sins and failures, and cleanse me, Lord. I repent of my sins and desire to begin a new life with You. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Help me love You and serve You with all my heart. Amen.

Jesus said, “All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away” (John 6:37).

If you have prayed this prayer sincerely, you have begun an exciting new journey as a follower of Jesus. Through faith in Christ, you are born anew and brought into a personal relationship with God, your heavenly Father. You are not alone. God has given you the Holy Spirit as your Counselor, Comforter, and Guide into all truth. He will help you grow in faith and face life’s changes and challenges.

Begin each day by calling on God and speaking with Him honestly, as you would with a trusted friend. You can depend on Him. The Holy Spirit gives you strength to live for Jesus and share His love with others.

Never forget that God loves you. Whenever you feel unworthy, remember this truth: Jesus considered you worth dying for. Through faith in Him, you have been forgiven, made new, and welcomed as a beloved child of God. One day, you will be with Him in heaven forever. Amen.
